Touch Organic Mild Mint Tea

What:  Green Tea with Mint

Where:  China

Why:  I'm attempting to work out again, which is half successful because I'm working out regularly and feel my stomach getting more muscular and less flabby, but I wanted to work out every day when I'm doing it about every other day.  Anyway, I have this idea that it's better to drink green tea instead of water to hydrate.  Green tea has a fair amount of antioxidants, good detox capabilities and boosts your metabolism.  Plus, I don't work out enough to drink something like gatorade which has a fair amount of sugar.  So this is great and fantastic and all, but I'm looking for different flavors so I won't get bored with plain green tea.  Touch Organics is relatively consistent in terms of quality.

The Outsides:  I forgot how much I liked the simple design of the box.  The tea sachets aren't wrapped as nicely as I'd like, being more in little envelopes than foil sachets.  One really fantastic thing though is that within two minutes of opening the box, the entire room smelled like mint.  It pretty much just looks like green tea and it smells pleasantly minty.

The Insides:  At first, I thought this would be anything but mild by the smell that came from the box, but the tea itself just has this hint of peppermint.  The green tea seems slightly sweet and is full bodied without that bitter taste some have.  It makes a great workout tea and is a fantastic iced tea.  I'm also convinced that everyone would like it during the summer since it's not too strong and slightly sweet.

The Verdict:  Buy
I've never been disappointed with Touch Organics.  This happens to be a solid mint tea for people who like to drink mint tea.  The flavor is there but it's not overpowering and the result is a light, refreshing drink which I really want to add lime to.
